Course overview

Unlock deeper, more dynamic diving with the SSI Advanced Adventurer course in Raja Ampat, which certifies you to 30 metres across five adventure dives. Sampling skills like deep, navigation and drift on current-rich sites such as Cape Kri and Blue Magic, you gain the experience to take on the Coral Triangle's most rewarding reefs.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and conduct dives to 30 metres
• Navigate with natural references and a compass
• Apply deep-diving awareness and gas management
• Sample five adventure specialties such as drift and fish ID
• Refine buoyancy, trim and awareness
• Adapt to Raja Ampat's strong currents

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (junior) or 15
• SSI Open Water Diver or qualifying certification from another agency
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep and navigation dives

   Sample the deep and navigation adventure dives on local reefs near Mansuar.
2. Day2
   Elective dives and certification

   Complete three further adventure dives such as drift at Cape Kri or Blue Magic, then certify.
