Course overview

Take your diving deeper at Netrani Island with the SSI Advanced Adventurer course on Karnataka's Murdeshwar coast. Across five adventure dives you sample different specialty disciplines — from deep diving toward 30 metres to navigation and fish identification — on the island's clear, fish-filled reef. You earn the SSI Advanced Adventurer certification, qualifying you to dive to advanced recreational depths.

What you’ll learn

• Navigate underwater with natural references and a compass
• Sample five specialty disciplines through adventure dives
• Plan and manage multi-dive days on the boat
• Refine buoyancy and trim over the reef

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12
• SSI Open Water Diver (or a qualifying certification from another agency)
• Comfort with entry-level diving skills
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician where required

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Navigation & adventure dives

   Complete the navigation adventure dive and one or two further specialty samples on Netrani's reef.
2. Day2
   Deep dive & electives

   Make the deep adventure dive toward 30 metres and your remaining adventure dives, then certify.
