Course overview

Take your diving further with the SSI Advanced Adventurer course on Koh Tao, extending your range to 30 metres across five adventure dives. Sampling the island's variety - deep pinnacles, the HTMS Sattakut wreck and calm reefs for navigation - it is a fast, hands-on way to discover which kinds of diving you enjoy most.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and conduct dives to a maximum of 30 metres
• Navigate using a compass and natural references
• Try five different adventure-dive disciplines
• Refine buoyancy and air consumption
• Gain experience in deep, wreck or night settings
• Develop confidence across varied conditions

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (Junior Advanced Adventurer)
• SSI Open Water Diver or a qualifying entry-level certification
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep & Navigation

   Complete two adventure dives - a deep dive toward 30 metres at Chumphon Pinnacle and a navigation dive on a varied reef.
2. Day2
   Three elective dives

   Choose three more adventure dives such as Wreck on the HTMS Sattakut, Night or Perfect Buoyancy across Koh Tao's reefs.
