Course overview

Step up to versatile diving with the SSI Advanced Adventurer course on Gili Trawangan, sampling five different specialty adventure dives to a maximum of 30 metres. You explore deep diving, navigation and more across the island's turtle reefs and drifts, earning the SSI Advanced Adventurer rating that opens the door to continued specialty training.

What you’ll learn

• Sample five SSI specialty disciplines through adventure dives
• Dive to 30 metres and manage deeper-water conditions
• Navigate underwater with compass and natural references
• Refine buoyancy and air management on Gili reefs
• Identify which specialties to pursue further

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15 (12 for Junior)
• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent
• Comfort in open water with basic swimming ability
• Diver medical clearance where required

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep & Navigation adventures

   Descend toward 30m and practise compass navigation on Gili reef sites.
2. Day2
   Elective adventures & certification

   Three further specialty adventure dives such as drift or buoyancy near Turtle Heaven, then certification.
