Course overview

Earn your PADI Wreck Diver specialty among the Seychelles' atmospheric Indian Ocean shipwrecks, including the Twin Barges off Mahe and the wreck of the Ennerdale. Over four dives you learn to survey, map and safely explore wrecks, which here teem with reef sharks, batfish and resident marine life. You finish certified to plan and conduct recreational wreck dives.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• PADI Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water (or qualifying certification)
• Comfortable buoyancy control
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician
• Deep Diver specialty recommended for deeper wrecks

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Survey & mapping

   Knowledge review, then two dives on the Twin Barges learning to survey, tie in a line and map the wreck.
2. Day2
   Exploration & navigation

   Two further wreck dives practising navigation, equipment handling and safe exploration, then certify.
