Course overview

Add wreck diving to your logbook with the PADI Wreck Diver specialty in Rasdhoo Atoll, where compact sunken structures sit within easy boat range of the island and host dense resident fish life. You will learn safe wreck-survey and exploration techniques on real Maldivian wrecks, finishing certified to dive wrecks responsibly to recreational limits.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• PADI Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver
• Comfortable with buoyancy control
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory & first wreck dives

   Wreck-diving theory and planning, then two dives on a local wreck focusing on survey and buoyancy.
2. Day2
   Mapping & line work

   Two further wreck dives covering mapping, reel handling and responsible limited penetration, then certification.
