Course overview

Coron is one of the world's great wreck-diving destinations, and the PADI Wreck Diver specialty here lets you explore its sunken WWII Japanese fleet with proper training. Over four dives on ships such as the Olympia Maru, Kogyo Maru and Okikawa Maru you learn safe survey, mapping and penetration techniques in warm 27-29C water. You finish certified to plan and enjoy wreck dives responsibly.

The PADI Wreck Diver pathway

The PADI Wreck Diver specialty counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating and stacks with the Deep and Nitrox specialties, which are especially useful given the depth of Coron's wrecks. Advanced Open Water is recommended before tackling the deeper ships.
