Course overview

Earn the PADI Wreck Diver specialty on Ambergris Caye and learn to explore sunken structures responsibly along the Belize Barrier Reef. Over four dives you master survey, mapping and penetration-line techniques, gaining the skills to investigate wrecks safely in the clear Caribbean water off San Pedro.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and execute safe wreck dives

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• PADI Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver
• Comfortable with buoyancy control
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Survey & mapping

   Theory followed by two dives focusing on external survey, mapping and buoyancy around a wreck off Ambergris Caye.
2. Day2
   Lines & penetration

   Two further dives practising reel-and-line use and limited, safe penetration in clear reef water.
