Course overview

Get certified faster with the PADI Scuba Diver course in Komodo, a sub-certification of Open Water Diver that qualifies you to dive to 12 metres under the supervision of a professional. You complete the first portions of the Open Water programme, building core skills in calm water and on sheltered park reefs. It is ideal if you are short on time but want a recognised certification to dive Komodo.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 10 (Junior Scuba Diver under 15)
• Able to swim and comfortable in water
• No prior diving experience required
• Diver medical questionnaire (physician sign-off if any condition applies)

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory and confined water

   Complete the first knowledge sections and practise core skills in calm, confined water.
2. Day2
   Open-water dives and certification

   Complete two training dives at sheltered park reefs, then certify as a PADI Scuba Diver.
