Course overview

Earn a recognised entry-level certification with the PADI Scuba Diver course in Key Largo, a shorter pathway than full Open Water that gets you diving on the Florida Keys' calm reefs sooner. You complete part of the Open Water knowledge and confined-water skills plus two open-water dives, finishing certified to dive to 12 metres under the supervision of a PADI professional. It's an ideal option if you're short on time but want a real qualification.

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory and confined water

   Complete the first knowledge sections and confined-water skill practice in sheltered water.
2. Day2
   Open-water dives

   Two open-water training dives on a shallow Pennekamp reef, then certification.
