Course overview

Earn the PADI Scuba Diver certification on Grand Cayman, a recognised sub-Open-Water rating that lets you dive to 12 metres under the supervision of a PADI professional. A shorter alternative to the full Open Water Diver course, it covers the first portions of the academics, confined-water skills and open-water dives on the island's calm, clear reefs. You can upgrade to Open Water Diver at any time.

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory and confined water

   Complete the first knowledge-development sections and confined-water skills in calm, shallow water.
2. Day2
   Open-water dives and certification

   Make two open-water training dives on a gentle Cayman reef and earn your PADI Scuba Diver certification.
