Course overview

Get certified faster with the PADI Scuba Diver course in Cyprus, a subset of Open Water that qualifies you to dive to 12 metres under the supervision of a professional. It is ideal if you are short on time, training in the calm, shallow shelter of Green Bay before continuing later to full Open Water Diver.

What you’ll learn

• Assemble and use scuba equipment
• Master core skills such as mask clearing and regulator recovery
• Control buoyancy and move efficiently underwater
• Dive to a maximum of 12 metres with a PADI professional
• Plan simple dives with a buddy

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 10
• No prior certification required
• Able to swim and be comfortable in the water
• Diver medical questionnaire (doctor sign-off if needed)

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory and confined water

   Complete the first knowledge sections and practise core skills in the shallows of Green Bay.
2. Day2
   Open-water dives and certification

   Two open-water training dives to a maximum of 12 metres, then certify as a Scuba Diver.
