Course overview

The PADI Scuba Diver course in Cancún and Cozumel is a fast-track certification to 12 metres under guide supervision - ideal when a full Open Water doesn't fit your holiday. Train on calm Mesoamerican reefs and you can upgrade to Open Water later.

What you’ll learn

• Assemble and check scuba equipment
• Perform essential dive skills
• Equalise and control buoyancy
• Dive within limits under a guide
• Understand basic dive planning

• 10 years minimum
• Reasonable health and swim ability
• Able to swim

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Confined skills

   Complete core confined-water skills and the first reef dive.
2. Day2
   Second dive

   Apply skills on a shallow Cozumel or Cancún reef with a guide.
