Course overview

Widely called the most rewarding recreational course, PADI Rescue Diver trains you to prevent and manage emergencies in the open conditions of the Red Sea. Most of the training happens in open water rather than a pool, with realistic scenarios run on Sharm El Sheikh reefs where warm water and easy access make practice safe. You will finish as a calmer, more capable buddy ready to help others.

Where you'll dive in Sharm El Sheikh

Sharm's sheltered reefs and easy shore and boat entries provide controlled but realistic settings for surface and underwater rescues, with calm water, 20-30m visibility and quick access to emergency facilities. Varied environments of reef, currents and entries mirror real diving challenges.
