Course overview

Widely called the most rewarding recreational course, PADI Rescue Diver trains you to prevent and manage emergencies in the open conditions of the Red Sea. Most of the training happens in open water rather than a pool, with realistic scenarios run on Sharm El Sheikh reefs where warm water and easy access make practice safe. You will finish as a calmer, more capable buddy ready to help others.

What you’ll learn

• Spotting and de-escalating diver stress
• Tired and panicked diver rescues at the surface
• Missing and unconscious diver procedures
• Emergency oxygen use and accident management
• Self-rescue and proactive risk awareness

Prerequisites

• PADI Adventure Diver with Underwater Navigation (or equivalent)
• Emergency First Response / CPR within 24 months
• Minimum age 12
• Medically fit to dive
