The PADI Rescue Diver pathway

PADI Rescue Diver is widely regarded as the most rewarding recreational course and is a required step before the Divemaster rating. A current Emergency First Response (CPR & first aid) certification must be in place, and it can be completed alongside the course.

Where you'll dive in Rasdhoo Atoll

Rescue training uses the calm shallows near the island for skill drills, then moves to accessible reef sites like Holhi Faru and Veligandu East for the full scenarios; practising in Rasdhoo's moderate drift conditions makes the course directly relevant to the channel diving you will do here, ideally between November and April.
