Course overview

The PADI Rescue Diver course in Pondicherry turns you into a more aware, capable diver through realistic scenarios staged in the Bay of Bengal. Practising tired-diver tows and surface rescues in the warm, current-touched waters off Pondicherry prepares you to help others on real reef dives.

What you’ll learn

• Anticipate and prevent dive emergencies

Prerequisites

• 12 years or older (Junior Rescue under 15)
• PADI Adventure Diver with Underwater Navigation (or equivalent)
• EFR / CPR & first aid within 24 months

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Knowledge and self-rescue

   Review theory and practise self-rescue and stress recognition.
2. Day2
   Rescue exercises

   Work through the ten rescue skills in the Bay of Bengal.
3. Day3
   Scenarios

   Run full missing-diver and unresponsive-diver simulations.
