Course overview

Become a calmer, more capable diver with the PADI Rescue Diver course in Krabi, learning to prevent and manage problems in the water on the Andaman reefs around Ao Nang. Over scenario-based dives you practise self-rescue, assisting tired or panicked divers and handling a simulated unresponsive-diver emergency in the warm 27-30°C sea. You finish certified as a PADI Rescue Diver, ready for leadership training.

The PADI Rescue Diver pathway

The PADI Rescue Diver course requires current Emergency First Response (or equivalent CPR and first-aid) training and is the prerequisite for the PADI Divemaster rating, making it the gateway to professional-level diving.
