The PADI Rescue Diver course in Bohol Panglao transforms you into a more confident, aware diver able to prevent and manage problems in the water and assist others. Practising scenario-based rescues from Alona Beach and on Panglao's reefs, you build the skills that make the Philippines' wall and drift dives at Balicasag safer and more enjoyable.
PADI Rescue Diver pairs with Emergency First Response (CPR and first aid) and is a prerequisite for the PADI Divemaster rating. It counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating, PADI's highest recreational level.
Skill practice starts in the calm shallows off Alona Beach and progresses to Panglao's gently sloping reefs, where easy entries and warm 27-29C water let you focus on rescue technique. The December-to-May peak gives the settled surface conditions ideal for towing and scenario work.
