The PADI Open Water Diver pathway

PADI Open Water Diver is the most widely held scuba certification in the world. It qualifies you to dive independently with a buddy to 18 metres, the card never expires, and it is the prerequisite for the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course.

Where you'll dive in Kovalam

Open-water training dives take place over the Kovalam reef in the Arabian Sea, home to reef fish, the occasional turtle, barracuda, octopus, lionfish, moray eels and stingrays, with the calm post-monsoon season (roughly October to March) and warm 27-30°C water offering settled, beginner-friendly conditions.
