Across three dives you master compass and natural navigation on sites like Green Bay and Cape Greco, building the precise navigation skills that make exploring Cyprus's reefs and wrecks far more rewarding.

What you’ll learn

• Navigate accurately with a compass underwater
• Use natural references such as reef contours and ripples
• Estimate distance with kick cycles and timed swims
• Run reciprocal and square patterns and relocate a point
• Plan and execute navigation dives independently

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 10
• PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or equivalent certification
• Basic comfort with buoyancy control
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Compass and natural navigation

   Knowledge review and the first dive practising compass headings and natural references at Green Bay.
2. Day2
   Patterns and certification
