Launch a teaching career where divers dream of training: South Ari Atoll, with year-round whale sharks and manta encounters. The PADI Instructor Development Course prepares you to teach across the atoll's reefs and certify the next generation of divers.

What you’ll learn

Prerequisites

• 18 years or older
• PADI Divemaster (or equivalent) and 60+ logged dives
• Certified diver for at least six months
• EFR Instructor and medical fitness

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Standards & presentations

   Study PADI standards and develop classroom teaching presentations.
2. Day2
   Confined-water teaching

   Practise teaching and assessing skills in confined water.
3. Day3
   Open-water teaching

   Lead open-water teaching scenarios on South Ari reefs.
4. Day4
   IE preparation

   Run mock exams and refine demonstrations before the Instructor Examination.
