The PADI IDC leads to the Instructor Examination conducted by a PADI Examiner; it uses PADI eLearning/manuals, requires EFR Instructor status, and issues PADI OWSI credentials.

Where you'll dive in South Ari Atoll

Teaching practice uses South Ari's calm house reefs at 5-18m for confined and open-water presentations, the same gentle sites where you will later certify students. The proximity to channel and whale-shark diving makes the atoll an inspiring base for new instructors.
