Prerequisites

• 18 years or older

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   IDC orientation

   Standards review, teaching-presentation theory and prescriptive curriculum planning.
2. Day2
   Confined-water teaching

   Practise demonstration-quality skill circuits and student problem management in the pool.
3. Day3
   Open-water teaching

   Lead training dives on local reef sites and rehearse open-water presentations.
4. Day4
   Exams and IE prep

   Dive-theory exams, rescue assessment and final Instructor Examination rehearsal.
