Course overview

Train to the top recreational rung as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor in the unhurried waters off Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep), where small daily dive volumes mean your candidacy gets real instructor-trainer attention. You will hone teaching presentations and confined-water control on the same gentle reefs near Nemo Reef and Coral Safari that beginners learn on, then rehearse open-water skill demonstrations on deeper sites like The Wall.

• Demonstrate all 20+ skills to instructor standard

Prerequisites

• 18 years or older
• PADI Divemaster (or equivalent) certified for 6+ months
• 100+ logged dives
• EFR Instructor rating and current medical clearance

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   IDC orientation

   Standards review, dive-theory diagnostics and presentation planning.
2. Day5
   Confined-water teaching

   Practise skill demonstrations and student management in shallows.
3. Day9
   Open-water workshops

   Conduct mock training dives on Neil's reef sites.
4. Day12
   Instructor Examination

   Independent IE assessing academics, confined and open-water teaching.
