Earn your PADI Instructor rating in Cancún and Cozumel, where the Cozumel Marine Park's drift-swept walls give you an unmatched classroom for teaching real-world skills. You'll refine your presentations on reefs like Santa Rosa Wall and Palancar before facing the Instructor Examination, then graduate ready to certify divers across the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef.

What you’ll learn

• Deliver PADI knowledge-development, confined and open-water teaching presentations
• Conduct skill demonstrations to instructor standard

• Prepare for and pass the two-day Instructor Examination

Prerequisites

• 18 years minimum
• Divemaster certification with at least 60 logged dives (100 to certify)
• EFR / CPR current within 24 months
• Medically fit to dive

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   IDC orientation

   Standards review and teaching-presentation framework on dry land.
2. Day2
   Confined-water teaching

   Practice skill demonstrations and student management in the pool.
3. Day3
   Open-water workshops

   Lead training dives on calm Cozumel reefs such as Cielo or Paradise.
4. Day4
   Theory and prescriptive teaching

   Dive-theory exams plus classroom presentation assessments.
5. Day5
   Instructor Examination

   Independent PADI Examiner evaluates your teaching across two days.
