Course overview

Already certified? Explore the Arabian Sea on guided fun dives at Kovalam, with no course or assessment, just diving. Accompanied by a local dive guide, you visit the Kovalam reef and nearby sites to depths matching your certification, watching for reef fish, octopus, barracuda and the occasional turtle. It is the simplest way for qualified divers to enjoy the Kerala coast.

Prerequisites

• A recognised scuba certification (e.g. PADI Open Water Diver or higher)
• A logged dive within the last 6-12 months recommended (refresher available)
• Diver medical questionnaire (physician sign-off if any condition applies)
• Minimum age depends on certification held

1. Day1
   Briefing and first dive

   Meet your guide, review the plan and make your first guided dive on the Kovalam reef.
2. Day1
   Second guided dive

   After a surface interval, dive a second site in the Arabian Sea suited to your level and interests.
