Course overview

Already certified? Fun dives on Koh Lanta put you straight onto Thailand's best big-fish drift sites with no coursework, just guided diving. A typical day-trip combines the deep pinnacles of Hin Daeng and Hin Muang, where manta rays and pelagics patrol soft-coral walls, with calmer reefs at Koh Haa or Koh Bida. You dive at your own level under the eye of a local guide who knows the currents and the seasons.

Where you'll dive in Koh Lanta

Koh Lanta is the launch point for Hin Daeng and Hin Muang, Thailand's premier big-fish drift dives, plus the caverns of Koh Haa, the coral walls of Koh Bida and wrecks like Kled Keaw at 26m. The November-to-April season brings warm 27-30°C water, with whale sharks and mantas most likely on the deeper sites.
