Course overview

Already certified? Explore the Great Barrier Reef on guided PADI fun dives from Cairns, with day trips and liveaboards reaching outer reefs such as Flynn, Milln and Thetford. Dives are tailored to your certification level and experience, taking certified divers to recreational depths of up to 30 metres among reef sharks, turtles, Maori wrasse and vibrant coral gardens. It is the easiest way to log reef time between courses.

Prerequisites

• A recognised certification such as PADI Open Water Diver or higher
• Depth access according to your certification level (up to 30 metres for Advanced)
• Reasonable recent dive experience or a refresher if you have not dived recently
• Diver medical clearance signed where any health condition applies

   Guided reef dives

   Join a day trip or liveaboard to outer reef sites such as Flynn or Milln Reef for two or more guided fun dives, with depths matched to your certification and a guide pointing out reef sharks, turtles and Maori wrasse.
