The PADI Fun Dives pathway

Fun dives are guided recreational dives for already-certified divers and carry no certification. Your certification level and logged experience determine which sites and depths you can dive; deeper or current-swept sites call for Advanced Open Water or equivalent.

Where you'll dive in Banda Sea

Fun dives roam Ambon Bay's muck and reef — the Twilight Zone, Coral Gardens and the Hesperus wreck — in warm 27-29°C water with moderate currents. Critter diving is good year-round; open Banda Sea liveaboard crossings run mainly March-April and September-November when hammerhead schools appear.
