Course overview

Extend your bottom time on Netrani Island's deeper boat dives with the PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver specialty. By learning to dive with higher-oxygen blends, you gain longer no-decompression limits on the reef's busier, deeper sections off Karnataka's Murdeshwar coast. You finish certified to plan and dive enriched air up to 40 percent oxygen — one of the most popular specialties for divers who want more time underwater.

The PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) pathway

The PADI Enriched Air Diver specialty can be completed as a knowledge-only course or combined with training dives. It certifies you to dive enriched air up to 40 percent oxygen using PADI's enriched-air procedures and dive planning.

Where you'll dive in Netrani Island

Enriched air pays off most on the deeper boat dives to Netrani Island, where the reef drops toward 30 metres and longer no-decompression limits mean more time with the schooling fish and rays. The course runs best in the calm October-to-April season.
