Course overview

Extend your bottom time on Netrani Island's deeper boat dives with the PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver specialty. By learning to dive with higher-oxygen blends, you gain longer no-decompression limits on the reef's busier, deeper sections off Karnataka's Murdeshwar coast. You finish certified to plan and dive enriched air up to 40 percent oxygen — one of the most popular specialties for divers who want more time underwater.

What you’ll learn

• Manage oxygen exposure and maximum operating depth limits
• Analyse a cylinder's oxygen content and set your dive computer accordingly
• Plan enriched-air dives for extended no-decompression time
• Complete and label cylinders correctly for nitrox use

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12
• PADI Open Water Diver (or a qualifying certification from another agency)
• No additional dives required for the knowledge-only option
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician where required
