Course overview

Extend your no-decompression bottom time with the PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) specialty in Mauritius. Largely a knowledge-based course, it teaches you to analyse and dive with enriched-air blends so you can spend longer on the reefs around Flic-en-Flac, particularly during repetitive dive days exploring Cathedral, Aquarium and the island's deeper sites. You finish certified to dive nitrox to 40 percent oxygen.

Where you'll dive in Mauritius

Nitrox is especially valuable on the multi-dive days that Flic-en-Flac's varied reefs invite, letting you extend bottom time across sites like Aquarium, Snake Reef and the deeper Cathedral during the calm November-to-April season.
