Course overview

The PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver specialty lets you extend your no-decompression time on the reefs of Baa Atoll in the Maldives, ideal for the longer, repetitive dives that manta and reef encounters near Dharavandhoo reward. This is the most popular PADI specialty and can be completed in a day, often without any required training dives.

• Understand the benefits and limits of diving enriched air nitrox
• Analyse a cylinder's oxygen content and label it correctly
• Set nitrox mixes and maximum operating depth on a dive computer
• Plan longer no-decompression limits for repetitive reef diving
• Manage oxygen-exposure and partial-pressure considerations

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12
• PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or qualifying certification
• No prior nitrox experience required
