The PADI Emergency First Response pathway

Emergency First Response is PADI's first-aid and CPR program. It is a required prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver course and Divemaster and Instructor ratings, and the certification is valid for 24 months before a refresher is recommended.

Where you'll dive in Koh Tao

EFR is a classroom-based, dry course with no in-water component, run on Koh Tao alongside dive training so divers can satisfy the first-aid prerequisite for Rescue Diver and professional courses.
