Course overview

Learn life-saving first-aid and CPR with the PADI Emergency First Response course in Cyprus, a non-diving programme open to everyone. It teaches primary and secondary care skills you can use on land or before a dive, and it satisfies the first-aid prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver and Divemaster courses.

What you’ll learn

• Perform CPR and rescue breathing
• Manage a non-breathing patient and use an AED
• Control serious bleeding and treat for shock
• Provide secondary care, illness and injury assessment
• Build the confidence to act in an emergency

Prerequisites

• No prior experience or certification required
• Open to non-divers and divers of all ages
• Willingness to practise CPR on a training manikin
• No medical clearance required (non-diving course)

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Primary and secondary care

   Complete the CPR and first-aid knowledge and skills sessions, practise AED use and run through emergency scenarios to certify.
