Course overview

The PADI Dry Suit Diver specialty teaches you to dive comfortably in a dry suit, extending your range into cooler conditions and longer dives. While Fujairah's waters are warm, dry-suit skills broaden your diving for cooler seasons and travel, and you practise buoyancy and suit control on the calm reefs around Dibba Rock.

What you’ll learn

• Set up, don and care for a dry suit and undergarments
• Control buoyancy using the suit and BCD together
• Manage suit inflation and venting during ascents and descents
• Recover from common dry-suit problems such as feet-first ascent
• Plan and conduct dry-suit dives safely

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 10
• PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or equivalent
• Comfort with basic buoyancy control
• Diver medical clearance as required

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory & confined water

   Learn dry-suit theory and practise donning, buoyancy and venting in confined or shallow water.
2. Day2
   Open-water dives

   Complete two dry-suit dives on the calm reefs around Dibba Rock, refining buoyancy and recovery skills, then certify.
