Course overview

Become a PADI Divemaster in Pondicherry and learn to guide certified divers across the Bay of Bengal's reefs and the celebrated Aravind Wall. Long internship dives among moray eels and stingrays build the stamina and judgement that define a working dive professional on India's east coast.

What you’ll learn

• Guide and supervise certified divers
• Plan and lead reef dives in the Bay of Bengal
• Demonstrate the 24 dive skills to professional standard

Prerequisites

• 18 years or older
• PADI Advanced Open Water (or equivalent)
• Rescue Diver certification
• Current EFR / first-aid certification
• 40+ logged dives to begin, 60 to certify

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Knowledge and skills

   Begin theory modules and the 24-skill demonstration assessment.
2. Day2
   Practical workshops

   Practise site mapping, briefings and search patterns on local reefs.
3. Day3
   Guiding internship

   Lead certified divers under instructor supervision in the Bay of Bengal.
4. Day4
   Assessment and final dives

   Complete stamina tests, exams and supervised guiding scenarios.
