Course overview

Train as a PADI Divemaster in Cozumel, where guiding divers along the swift drift of Palancar and Santa Rosa Wall sharpens your dive-leadership instincts fast. You'll map currents, brief reefs teeming with eagle rays and turtles, and assist real courses across the Cancún-Cozumel corridor.

Prerequisites

• 18 years minimum
• Advanced Open Water + Rescue Diver
• EFR / CPR within 24 months
• At least 40 logged dives to start (60 to certify)

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory and watermanship

   Dive-theory exams plus stamina and rescue assessment.
2. Day2
   Skill demonstrations

   Polish the 24 skills to demonstration standard.
3. Day3
   Guiding practice

   Brief and lead certified divers on a Cozumel drift reef.
4. Day4
   Mapping project

   Survey and chart a reef such as Paradise or Columbia.
5. Day5
   Internship assists

   Support an instructor on live training dives.
