Course overview

Extend your range to the recreational limit with the PADI Deep Diver specialty in Phuket, training on the deeper pinnacles and walls around Racha Noi, which offer some of the area's deepest, clearest dives. Over four dives you learn to plan and manage dives between 18 and 40 metres, recognise nitrogen narcosis and handle the practicalities of depth. It is the natural companion to the Wreck Diver specialty.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• PADI Adventure Diver or higher (Advanced Open Water recommended)
• Comfortable with buoyancy and gas monitoring
• Diver medical clearance where required

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Planning and first dives

   Deep-dive theory and planning, then two progressively deeper dives at Racha Noi's pinnacles.
2. Day2
   To 40 metres

   Two further dives reaching the 40-metre recreational limit, with narcosis and gas-management exercises, then certification.
