Course overview

The PADI Deep Diver specialty on Neil Island takes you beyond 18 metres on Andaman drop-offs like The Wall, where you learn to plan, monitor and enjoy dives down to 40 metres. Neil's calm conditions and deep-water sites make controlled descents straightforward to practise.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and execute dives to 30-40 metres
• Manage gas, narcosis and no-stop limits
• Use dive computers and contingency planning
• Recognise and respond to deep-water hazards
• Monitor colour and light changes at depth

Prerequisites

• 15 years or older
• PADI Advanced Open Water (or Adventure Diver)
• Medical clearance
