Course overview

PADI Bubblemaker lets children aged 8 and up experience scuba in shallow, confined water under close instructor supervision, never deeper than 2m. It is a safe, fun first taste of breathing underwater during a Zanzibar family holiday, run in a pool or sheltered shallow area.

What you’ll learn

• Breathe underwater on scuba for the first time
• Wear and use child-sized scuba equipment
• Clear water from the mask
• Move gently and stay near the instructor
• Use simple underwater hand signals
• Have fun safely in shallow water to a maximum of 2m

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 8
• No experience or swimming certification required
• Comfortable getting their face in water
• Parent/guardian consent and basic medical questionnaire
