Course overview

PADI Bubblemaker is a fun, supervised first taste of scuba for children in the shallow, calm lagoons of Baa Atoll in the Maldives. Kids breathe underwater for the first time in confined or shallow water no deeper than two metres near Dharavandhoo, guided closely by a PADI professional. It is an experience, not a certification.

The PADI Bubblemaker & Kids pathway

PADI Bubblemaker is a supervised experience for children aged 8 and up, limited to a maximum of two metres. It is not a certification, but it gives kids a genuine taste of scuba and can lead into the PADI Seal Team or junior courses later.

Bubblemaker sessions run in the calm, shallow lagoon shallows around Dharavandhoo in Baa Atoll, where warm 27-30°C water and gentle conditions make a safe, exciting introduction for children.
