Course overview

PADI Bubblemaker is a fun, supervised first taste of scuba for children in the shallow, calm lagoons of Baa Atoll in the Maldives. Kids breathe underwater for the first time in confined or shallow water no deeper than two metres near Dharavandhoo, guided closely by a PADI professional. It is an experience, not a certification.

What you’ll learn

• Breathe underwater on scuba for the first time
• Wear and use child-sized scuba equipment
• Clear water from the mask and recover the regulator
• Stay comfortable and have fun in shallow water
• Follow simple safety signals with an instructor

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 8
• No experience or swimming certification required
• Comfortable in shallow water
• Parent or guardian consent
