Course overview

The PADI Scuba Diver route is the ideal first step in Malta and Gozo when you want more than a try dive but have limited time. You complete the first portion of the Open Water course and dive to around 12 metres under professional supervision in the calm, clear water off Gozo and Cirkewwa. The training credits directly toward full Open Water certification.

The PADI Basic Diver pathway

PADI Scuba Diver is a recognised sub-certification covering the first half of the Open Water Diver course; you can dive to 12 metres under a PADI professional's supervision and later complete the remaining modules to become a full Open Water Diver.

Where you'll dive in Malta Gozo

Training uses calm, shallow shore entries on Gozo and around Cirkewwa, where clear water and easy access make the perfect setting to learn under supervision.
