Course overview

The PADI Scuba Diver course in Alor is a shorter, entry-level certification for those with limited time who still want a real qualification. You complete the first portion of the Open Water skills, including confined-water training and open-water dives on sheltered Alor reefs, certifying you to dive to 12 metres under the supervision of a PADI professional.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 10 (Junior Scuba Diver for 10-14)
• No experience or swimming certification required
• Basic comfort and ability in water
• Able to complete a diver medical questionnaire
• Willingness to learn core safety skills

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory & confined skills

   Work through the first knowledge sections and practise core skills in confined or shallow water.
2. Day2
   Open-water dives

   Complete two open-water training dives on a sheltered Alor reef to earn your PADI Scuba Diver certification.
