Course overview

Build on your certification with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course on the reef-rich west coast of Mauritius, extending your depth limit to 30 metres. Over five adventure dives from Flic-en-Flac, including mandatory deep and navigation dives, you explore classic sites such as Cathedral, Aquarium and Snake Reef while sampling specialties like night, wreck or buoyancy. You finish a more capable, versatile diver.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (Junior) or 15 for full certification
• PADI Open Water Diver or qualifying certification
• Basic comfort with core scuba skills
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep and navigation

   Complete the mandatory Deep dive toward 30 metres at a site like Cathedral and the Underwater Navigation dive at Aquarium.
2. Day2
   Elective adventures

   Three elective adventure dives such as night, wreck or buoyancy at west-coast reefs, then certification.
