Course overview

Build on your certification with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course in Krabi, completing five adventure dives across the local island reefs and the Phi Phi sites on the Andaman coast. You sample deep and underwater-navigation dives plus three electives, extending your depth limit to 30 metres while diving with reef sharks, turtles and barracuda. You finish certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.

The PADI Advanced Open Water pathway

PADI Advanced Open Water requires only the Open Water certification (no minimum dive count), bundles the mandatory Deep and Navigation dives with three electives, and is the prerequisite for the Rescue Diver course.

Where you'll dive in Krabi

Adventure dives spread across the local island reefs reached by long-tail boat and the Phi Phi sites accessed by speedboat from Ao Nang, with junior divers limited to 21 metres and full certification opening sites to 30 metres.
