Build on your certification with the PADI Advanced Open Water course in Hikkaduwa, extending your depth limit to 30 metres across five adventure dives. Diving the town's coral gardens, deeper reef ledges and shipwrecks on Sri Lanka's south coast, you complete required Deep and Navigation dives plus three of your choice. You finish certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, ready for a wider range of sites.
The PADI Advanced Open Water course requires no exam; you learn by completing five adventure dives, including the mandatory Deep and Underwater Navigation dives. It raises your depth limit to 30 metres and is a prerequisite for Rescue Diver.
Advanced training uses Hikkaduwa's coral gardens, deeper reef ledges and shipwrecks reaching 30 metres, where calm 27-29°C water and reliable visibility through the November-to-April season suit deep, navigation and wreck adventure dives.
