Course overview

The PADI Advanced Open Water course on Havelock opens up deeper, more thrilling diving in the Andaman Sea, qualifying you to 30 metres. Your mandatory deep and navigation dives plus three adventure dives can include classic sites like Johnny's Gorge and The Wall, where you might meet white-tip sharks, barracuda schools and turtles. It's widely considered the most fun step in recreational diving.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and execute dives to 30 metres
• Navigate underwater with compass and natural references
• Manage deep-dive gas and narcosis awareness
• Choose adventure dives such as wreck, night or buoyancy
• Build confidence and refine air consumption

Prerequisites

• Minimum 12 years old
• PADI Open Water Diver or qualifying certification
• Medical declaration of fitness to dive
