Course overview

Build skills and go deeper with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course in Cyprus, completing five adventure dives that certify you to 30 metres. Cyprus is a near-perfect setting, pairing a deep-dive adventure on the iconic Zenobia wreck with navigation and other dives on sheltered sites like Green Bay and Cape Greco.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and execute dives to a maximum of 30 metres
• Navigate underwater using compass and natural references
• Apply deep-diving procedures and gas management
• Sample three further adventure dives such as wreck, night or peak performance buoyancy
• Improve buoyancy, trim and situational awareness
• Gain experience across varied Cyprus dive sites

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (Junior Advanced Open Water below 15)
• PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or a qualifying certification
• Basic swimming ability and comfort in the water
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep and navigation dives

   Complete the required Deep adventure dive, ideally on the Zenobia wreck, and the Underwater Navigation dive.
2. Day2
   Elective adventure dives

   Choose three further adventure dives such as wreck, night or buoyancy on sites like Green Bay and Cape Greco, then certify.
