Course overview

The PADI Adaptive Support Diver course trains certified divers and dive buddies to support divers with physical or mental challenges, opening South Ari Atoll's gentle reefs to everyone. It is a compassionate specialty that fits the atoll's calm, accessible house-reef diving.

Prerequisites

• 12 years or older
• PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or equivalent

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Adaptive theory & confined

   Learn adaptive principles and practise support techniques in confined water.
2. Day2
   Supported reef dives

   Apply techniques on two guided dives on a calm South Ari reef.
